Wanderer of Hawthorn
week 1
East-Air-Spring-Birth-Sunrise-Swords
Passage of a Secret
The Wanderer of the Hawthorn Tribe meets us as we step onto the path of the Hawthorn Tree Cycle and speaks to us of the unseen and hidden. And reminds us that there is difficulty in travelling through the Hawthorn tree cycle. So much during this time is not known, everything seems to be held back from us. The Wanderer of Hawthorn asks us to embrace this uncomfortable space of anticipation and recognise its quality as a mysterious companion and the protector of undisclosed life path secrets.
The Wanderer of Hawthorn's seat is in the East, the dwelling of the Spirits of Sunrise and Dawn. The Spirits of Dawn herald the spring light every morning as the sun rises. The Spirits of Dawn diffuse light into the atmosphere, and into us. The offer us a fresh start every day to grow a little more. The Spirits of Dawn share with us that when they shine light on us, a little more of the secret that is hidden makes way towards this light. Nothing can be hurried or forced and the difficulty for us now is in waiting.
As Hawthorn Wanderers we are keeping ourselves company moving through an unknown space. This may become noticed in our intentions with work, or study, or in our relationships. Something is being held back from us and it seems as though nothing is moving. But there is movement, very slow, hidden, not ready to emerge yet. And as hawthorn Wanderers we must keep ourselves company as we wait. Not trying to change it, not trying to make something happen faster.
Journal prompt or something to contemplate:
Alignment with the slow and steady pace of early spring will support us at this time. We can align through reflecting the slow and steady way of nature with our own ways of being, Finding a cosiness in our everyday movements will support us to attune to natures vibrations. Keeping our home well tended and performing simple tasks that create for us a welcoming environment. Doing little odd jobs and taking care of the little things. being in this way at this time will support us to not merge with uncomfortable feelings of any one big thing that we are waiting for. And keeps us moving in a gentle space of comfort and creation.
Weaver of Hawthorn
week 2
South-Fire-Summer-Youth-Midday-Wands
Passage Through Embodied Sovereignty
The Weaver of the Hawthorn Tribe joins with us as we continue on our path and speaks to us of all that is sacred within us and reminds us to remember ourselves as sacred and sovereign beings. The Weaver of Hawthorn reminds us to see our unique qualities and allow them to strengthen us. Unique qualities that have stood the test of time for us and supported us to develop a strong personal integrity. Qualities such as kindness, wisdom and honesty, companionship, empathy and strength. Qualities that not only lift us up, but also lift up the spirit of those that we come into contact with.
The Weaver of Hawthorn's seat is in the South, the dwelling of the Spirits of Summer. The Weaver of Hawthorn speaks to us of the glow of the summer season and describes the life during this time as though eclipsed in a haze of timelessness and filled with wonder and possibility. The Weaver of Hawthorn reminds us that our journey through our life is sacred and no matter at what point we sit along the path of age we will always sense into the wonder of it all and look forward to what still waits for us held within summer's glow.
As Hawthorn Weavers we are encouraged to feel more bright. We are moving through a time of great promise, a time of unveiling secrets. We are actively passing through the light of the present that will become the hazy glow of memories from the past. A Weavers we embody a sense of joining in sacred unions with our own sovereign spirit. Upholding our own attitudes and values is important during this time so that we will feel proud of who we have become and what we have overcome so that we may share a stronger version of ourselves with others.
Journal prompt or something to contemplate:
How we view our daily life influences how experiences unfold and provide for us. We are encouraged by Weaver wisdom during the Hawthorn Tree Cycle to sense into the sacredness of even the smallest moments and understand how important we are. Life is the greatest wonder of all and we are a part of it. Now is the perfect time to believe in our potential for growth and trust whole heartedly that we are meant to share our nature and do meaningful things. Believing there is value in what we do and in how we share ourself will give us a sense of personal importance in the bigger web of life. And for those of us who have experienced being undervalued, bestowing value and importance on ourselves in ways can be highly restorative of dismembered parts and deeply healing.
Guide of Hawthorn
week 3
West-Water-Autumn-Maturity-Sunset-Cups
The Passage Through Aligning With The Authoritative Self
The Guide of the Hawthorn Tribe meets us as we step onto the path of the Hawthorn Tree Cycle and keeps us company a while. The Guide of Hawthorn speaks to us of keeping company to others as they find their own inner strength and reminds us all that sometimes it is important to offer stronger guidance to others who are still establishing their own integrity or trying to strengthen themselves after a period of dismemberment. Companions who may be looking to others for support and guidance. The Guide of the Hawthorn Tribe asks us to honour the journey of life we have been given and value the wisdom we have gained through navigating our own challenges and through the development of our personal skills and competence. We are asked to step into a space that holds a higher level of authority such as that of teacher or counsellor with confidence and understanding that we have earned this place. It is important to recognise that it is okay to hold authority and that authority can be offered in kindness and with discernment care when sought from us from a place of trust.
The Guide of Hawthorns seat is in the West, the dwelling of the Spirits of Maturity. The Spirits of Maturity hold a certain resilience in how they move around and encounter experiences. The Guide of Hawthorn encourages us to dig deep and embrace our own resilience that we have developed over many challenges through life. 'It is the seasonal rhythms that toughen us up and make us less resistant to dis-ease'. When in the past something upsetting may have weekend us, we are now more able to resist the effect on our being. We are now more able to be at ease and less reactive with life's challenges. The Guide of Hawthorn asks us to remember this.
As Hawthorn Guides we are moving through a time of many growth cycles at different stages of ability for growth and change. Different people we encounter will come to us with different levels of growth and change. Some will be young and growing with uncertainty, some will be trying to re-establish strong roots. While other will be setting into hardened older growth of wood and they may not want to grow anymore or seek change. These are all attitudes and values that we will encounter of any given day. And we need to be aware during this point in the season that we may be sought out or engaged in these ways for support. We need to remember what our own attitudes and values are at this time and consider what opinions or wisdom is useful to share with other for their benefit.
Journal prompt or something to contemplate:
We are presented with an opportune time to explore our understanding of authority and how comfortable we are expressing ourselves from the perspective of being in an authoritative role. A role that provides wisdom, teaching, guidance and good advise to others. A role that does impart and attitude and value. A role which can influence the direction of relationships, growth and change. We are asked to reflect on our relationship with authority throughout our lives and how this has taught us to be with others.

Spirit Keeper of Hawthorn
week 4
North-Earth-Winter-Death-Night-Pentacles
The Passage Through Unity
At the end of the path we meet the Spirit Keeper of Hawthorn. We find them resting within a timeless sacred grove clearing in a forest. We notice a hazy light all around us as sunrays diffuse through frilly tree crowns. There is something regal about this place, as though we are in the company of royal trees. The Spirit Keepers of Hawthorn are here, a wise council of trees and they speak to us of sacred feminine and sacred masculine unions and share with us that being in a sacred union with another creates a strong bond that transcends a physical connection. Bonds that are deeply felt sensing and psychic in nature. A connecting of body, mind and spirit.
The Spirit Keeper of Hawthorns seat is in the North, the dwelling of the Spirits of the North. The Spirits of the North speak to us of the Pole Star and our inner guiding compass. They share with us that we are moving through a time of migration, of human movement from one place to another in search of the right environment for us to thrive in. The Spirit Keepers of Hawthorn explain that this is the way it has always been done and encourages us to seek out the environment which will provide for us the necessary conditions for togetherness and growth.
As Hawthorn Spirit Keepers we are a part of the great migration of human kind. Even if we aren't physically travelling or making great changes in our lives we are a part of the movement through sacred unions and what we create as release into the world. Even the most subtle ripples of our actions travel great distances and affect life. As Hawthorn Spirit Keepers we are moving in and out on alignment with the timeless hazy liminal spaces of unity with others and of sacred union with others. These spaces are cosmic in nature and direct the course of our actions.
Journal Prompts or things to contemplate:
On any given day we are encountering human migratory pathways. Whether we are travelling ourselves, or encountering other people who are, or we are simply travelling through the years of our life. Life is not mundane. It is special. There are many opportunities for us to experience unity with life and for deeper sacred unions with others. The connections we make along the way matter. Now is a good time for us to look at our life and identify unity opportunities and explore how these moment influence the course of our movement through life.
